The Toyota Camry consistently led midsize sales throughout 2012, so it should come as no shock that the sedan is the best-selling vehicle in its class overall for the year. The Camry sold a total of 404,886 units for the year, a full 73,014 cars more than second-place finisher Honda Accord, at 331,872. There are few things that can kill a car deal quicker than a credit score. The salesman can spend hours on an excellent test drive, building customer rapport, and negotiating a fair deal, but when the finance department discovers a poor credit score the deal can go sideways faster than a Motor Trend road test editor behind the wheel of a Toyobaru. Now, a recent report from Experian Automotive shows which brands’ customers have the ...

In the publication’s testing, the 2013 Ford ...

Although Ford has come under scrutiny lately for its allegedly overly-optimistic fuel economy ratings for its hybrid vehicles, the Fusion and C-Max, the company is claiming a 100 MPGe figure for the Fusion Energi plug-in hybrid sedan, the average of its 108 MPGe city and 92 MPGe higway rating. These figures are the same as those claimed for the C-Max Energi plug-in hybrid 5-door. Ford is touting the Fusion Energi as America’s “most fuel efficient sedan.” ...
