Rumors Video Roundup: Peugeot Car vs. Bike, Battle of the Z Cars, and Classic Cars in Cuba

In this week’s Rumors Video Roundup, we give out a variety of different videos, and two comparisons, one of classic versus modern sports car, and another comparing a car versus a bicycle.

We also take a sneak peek at the coming 2014 Ford Fiesta ST, and see if it lives up to the promise of its bigger brother, the excellent Ford Focus ST. Infiniti CEO Johan De Nysschen talks about the future of the brand, and Carlos Lago and Arthur St. Antoine go to the island paradise of Cuba to look at the country’s unique classic car culture that’s equal parts preservation and pragmatic survival.

Epic Drives Explores the Classic Cars of Cuba
If you’re a fan of salsa music, mojitos, or fine cigars, you owe a debt of gratitude to the island nation of Cuba, which has been isolated from much of the outside world, and its northern neighbor, the United States, for nearly six decades due to a trade embargo following the ascent of communist revolutionary Fidel Castro to power. But the result of that isolation is a vibrant car culture that preserves and venerates American classics in its own unique style, through hardscrabble resourcefulness, adaptation, and hand-craftsmanship.

Video: Battle Of The Tuned Nissan Z Cars
We’re sure Nissan fans have enjoyed having it their way; first they helped build the Project 370Z by choosing aftermarket parts, and then they chose a challenger worthy of going head to head with the track-ready car. On this episode of The Downshift, we find out whether a modified 1970 Datsun 240Z can keep up with the modern 370Z.

Feature Flick: Infiniti Q50 vs F1, CEO Talks Future Product
Infiniti didn’t have any big debuts at the 2013 New York auto show, but the automaker has been making headlines thanks to new hires and future products. In the latest episode of Wide Open Throttle, Infiniti CEO Johan De Nysschen meets with a few editors from Motor Trend to discuss the many changes the company is about to undergo.

Feature Flick: Is the 2014 Ford Fiesta ST a Mini Focus ST?
Fans of affordable and sporty hatchbacks have another car to look forward to this summer, when the 2014 Ford Fiesta ST is slated to arrive. In the latest episode of Ignition, host Carlos Lago travels to France to find out if the small hatch is a shrunken-down version of the bigger Focus ST.

Feature Flick: Peugeot RCZ vs. Mountain Bike
Here’s a question: what’s faster, a Peugeot RCZ or a mountain bike? The answer is obviously the Peugeot, but the French automaker decided to make a movie and ask the question again while sending both down a steep, slippery, snowy hill.
