Valentine’s Day has many different meanings. For some people, it means getting roses, chocolates, and cards. To others, it means finding a seat at the local watering hole is going to be tougher tonight. Then there are those who don’t need a living, breathing, significant other because they have their one and only love; their car. For Valentine’s Day, Associate Editor Megan Stewart came up with a list of five things you can do to show your vehicle some love.

Doing the little things can keep your vehicle on the road a lot longer, and on the cheap too. Performing things like an oil change, checking tire pressure, and even washing your vehicle will keep those expensive mechanic bills at bay. While those are all pretty sensible things to do, you’d be surprised how often people neglect their vehicles. Any guesses as to what’s the best thing you can do for a vehicle? Especially when it’s really old and tired? We’re not going to tell you here, that’s why you have to go and check out the five ways to show your car some love.
