Anyone looking for an adrenaline boost need look no further than the 2013 Ford Mustang GT. The GT Premium starts at $34,400, and includes a 5.0-liter V-8 engine that produces 420 horsepower. However, it’s important to keep your expectations in check; while it’s fast and fun, it’s also built to a price, and the interior is filled with hard plastics.

Blake Rong, who recently drove the Mustang, said, “When you unlock the Mustang, an illuminated logo of the horse glows from underneath the side mirrors, right in front of the door. It is, in a word, awesome, like a Bat Signal to commence shenanigans.”

Reflecting the DNA of the American people, the 2013 Ford Mustang GT is a working man’s romantic glimmer of excitement. Made to look more expensive than it actually is, Ford has produced a loud, brash, and not-so-subtle car that is “kind of like Los Angeles itself.” Head over to Blake’s Road Test and what he thought about his drive.
