The Broadmeadows Assembly Plant currently builds the Falcon, Falcon Ute, Territory, and Ford Performance Vehicles models. The Geelong Stamping factory creates body parts for the Falcon, ...

The Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is one of the most impressive trucks on the market, purpose-built for climbing rocks and attacking sand dunes. Race driver and Top Gear personality Tanner Foust, however, had another idea in mind: take the performance-tuned pickup for a lap around Germany’s famed Nürburgring race track. The Raptor isn’t available in Germany, and not surprisingly lots of heads turned once Foust arrived at the ‘Ring with the big, blue, SuperCrew truck. ...

And it’s nearing production, or so the company says. The Urbee, a tube-framed, lightweight car, looks to be the first vehicle to have its body panels made by 3D printing. “What’s that?” you ...

Consumer Reports: Ford Fusion fun but flawed; Mitsubishi i-MiEV slow, chintzy [w/videos]

image-317
Waiting for a Ford compliment from Consumer Reports these days is like waiting for a low-cost new product from Apple. So we weren't really expecting a glowing review of the 2013 Ford Fusion when CR got its hands on the car. The institute's crew bought three different versions of the Fusion (Hybrid, 1.6-liter EcoBoost and a Titanium with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost) to put through its barrage of tests, and while we aren't too surprised by ...
