Bank of America Merrill Lynch has issued its annual “Car Wars” analysis of the automotive industry, and we’ve found a couple of gems found within the 2014-2017 industry roadmap. We’ve already spotted the 2015 Mazda 3 clad in camouflage out testing numerous ...

But that lack of noise is one of the drawbacks: the absence of engine noise means pedestrians have a harder time hearing these vehicles coming. If the National Highway Transportation Safety ...

image-100
Did you ever wonder why you had to put 91-octane fuel in your car when the 87-octane stuff is 20 cents cheaper per gallon? Maybe you ignored your car’s recommended octane rating altogether, putting in the lower-grade stuff because it was cheaper or the higher-grade formula because you figured you wanted to treat your car right. Do you even know what octane is? ...

Ford, Daimler, and Nissan Join Forces to Make Fuel Cell-Powered Cars by 2017

A hydrogen fuel cell is a unit that combines hydrogen fuel with oxygen to create electricity. A joint venture is a partnership where companies that would otherwise compete join forces to reach a goal. This isn’t the first time that we’ve seen a partnership between competing car ...
