image-817
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has awarded the 2013 Ford Fusion Energi a five-star overall vehicle score, the highest possible rating. This score is determined by the severe testing procedures of the NHTSA’s New Car Assessment Program that combines performance in front and side accidents, as well as rollover resistance. The Ford Fusion and Ford Fusion Hybrid have both earned five-star ...

2015 Ford Mustang prototype spotted on the street [UPDATE]

image-730
Our trusty spy photographers have snapped the first photos of the 2015 Ford Mustang prototype out on public streets. With nearly every square inch of the machine covered in heavy camouflage, it's difficult to discern details, but we can see smallish horizontal headlamps at work in the coupe's nose. Ford has made it clear that modern lighting technology will allow the company to get away from large, expensive headlamp arrays in the near future, and ...

2015 Ford F-150 spied in the rain

image-728
Standing as quite a contrast from the spy shots of the 2015 Ford Mustang we saw earlier today, our spies also sent along these pictures of the next-generation F-150 pickup out testing in its (heavily camouflaged) full prototype body. Much of the new truck's design is hidden under the bulky coveralls, but we expect a lot of its new lines to be inspired by the Atlas concept that debuted at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. Perhaps ...

Ford bondage ads reportedly trigger firings at Indian ad agency

image-866
You will probably remember the ads for the Ford Figo hatchback in India, the ones that showcased the extra large boot of the little hatchback by joking that you can fit three of your enemies in the trunk. One of the ads had Michael Schumacher in the front seat, obviously pleased about having Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso tied up in the back. But the other two had Paris Hilton and ex-Italian prime ...

Ford Sued Over Lack of Safety Features on Vehicles with Electronic Throttles

image-678
Possibly looking to follow in the footsteps of the $1.1 billion class-action settlement paid by Toyota for unintended acceleration claims, a group of 20 consumers represented by New York-based law firm Grant & Eisenhofer has filed suit against Ford, according to a Reuters report. The plaintiffs allege the automaker failed to install sufficient safety systems in its vehicles equipped with electronic throttles, including the 2004-2010 F-Series trucks, the 2005-2009 Lincoln Town Car, and the 2002-2005 ...
