Ford Announces Software Fix for 2013 Fusion, 2013 Escape Fire Risk

Ford has announced that it has a fix for models of the 2013 Fusion sedan and 2013 Escape crossover equipped with 1.6-liter turbo-four engines. The vehicles were recalled because the EcoBoost engine could overheat and catch fire due to a flaw in its cooling system. It's taken four years of study, but the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has finally closed the books on its investigation into rollaway accusations surrounding 1.56-million Ford SUV models.
